- First Friday in August ePorfolio posting for editors
Step 3: Implementation
August 2017
- Introduce implementation to new students during August staff orientation, review plan, grading and add alterations if needed.
- Present editor ePortfolio pages as examples.
September- December 2017
- Weekly coaching of individuals and staff groups by editors and advisers with engagements via staff portals. Train and encourage students post to their ePortfolios after every deadline. Set weekly conference times for editors and advisers to be available for coaching.
- Discuss ePortfolio postings and story assignment after-action reviews during weekly staff meetings and post commentary. Use as recognition, fun and reward opportunity for student work.
- Encourage staff and student reflection. Encourage personal blogging on ePortfolios and monitor.
- ePortfolios must be completed and posted by Noon, Friday, December 8, 2017.
- Editor and adviser reviews and grades posted by Noon, Tuesday, December 12, 2017
